It is built to flag behaviour-based shoplifting at your high-value fixtures, such as concealment of fragrance, OTC medication, spirits or vapes, and to alert on breaches of restricted zones like the dispensary or spirits cage. The platform detects, alerts and evidences; it does not physically stop theft on its own. A person reviews every flag before any action is taken.

Do I need to replace my cameras to secure high-value SKU aisles?

No. QuantumEye is a software platform, not a camera vendor, so it runs on the IP cameras you already own over RTSP or ONVIF, with no rip-and-replace. Detection runs on a small edge node in the store, so only events leave the building and your continuous camera feed stays on site. How does face recognition help with repeat offenders across my off-licences?

A face flagged at one store can be recognised at every store in your estate, so you are not manually cross-checking sites. Recognition is not identification: a match surfaces a candidate and a human confirms before any ban or report. Face data is stored separately from video, recognition is split from identification with a human confirming every consequential action, retention is bounded by category, and all data stays in the UK or EU.
